Mission Hills - Washington and Goldfinch

Construction of upgrades to the intersection of Washington and Goldfinch Streets in Mission Hills begun March 2008, with completion expected in September 2008.

Improvements to the intersection will include pop-out curbs and pedestrian countdown signals at each corner, with brick paver cross-walks. The existing medians flanking the intersection on Washington Street will be rebuilt with new landscaped and irrigated medians. Additional landscaping will be planted around the intersection.

The City, Palm Engineering and Uptown Partnership are working to mitigate the impacts of construction. Please join us for community meetings to discuss the impacts of construction and to get updated information on the project.
